Why do so many of us put off writing a Will?
I’m genuinely surprised by how many people still haven’t got a Will.
I’m not judging, I completely understand why. None of us wants to think about dying. It’s a pretty depressing subject, and it’s much easier to put it to the bottom of the to do list.
But the reality is… none of us can escape it.

If you’ve got children, own a house, run a business, have savings, jewellery you’d like to leave to someone special, or you simply want your wishes respected, then a Will isn’t really optional. It’s something we all need.
The same goes for a Lasting Power of Attorney.
Most people don’t even know what one is until someone close to them becomes ill. Yet it could be one of the most important documents you’ll ever sign.
I’ve had my Will sorted for years. Not because I enjoy talking about these things, I definitely don’t but because once it’s done, it’s done.
You can crack on and enjoy life knowing you’ve taken care of it.
At Miss Money Savvy, we want to make these conversations easier. A professionally written Will doesn’t need to cost hundreds of pounds. In fact, our partner's Single Wills start from just £99.
For less than many people spend on a meal out, you can have the peace of mind that your loved ones know exactly what your wishes are.
It’s one of those jobs none of us wants to do….
But it’s also one of those jobs you’ll never regret getting out of the way.
Then you can shut the drawer, forget about it, and get back to living your life.
